  Freescale (Motorola) Parmer Lane Campus and University – Austin, TX  
 


The Freescale (Motorola) Parmer Lane Campus consists of five office buildings that have a total gross floor area of approximately 1 million square feet. This campus also includes an outdoor pavilion, a day care center, a banking facility and hiking trails.
 
   
     
  Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab-1 Expansion – Austin, TX  
 




This project consists of adding 81,000 square feet of manufacturing facility and 30,000 square feet support area to the existing Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab 1 Facilities. 136-foot long span steel roof trusses are utilized to reduce the number of columns in the manufacturing area.
 
   
     
  Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab A2 Project – Austin, TX  
 






The Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab A2 is the largest semiconductor manufacturing facility in the United States. Located in northeast Austin, this 1.6 million square-foot facility includes 350,000 square feet of cleanroom, two support buildings, an office building and several peripheral structures. This project also includes a 260-foot long pedestrian bridge, which connects the new Fab A2 office building to the existing Fab 1 Office.
 
   
     
  Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Lone Star Campus – Austin, TX  
 




The Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Lone Star campus is an 870,000-square-foot campus located in South Austin. This campus includes four four-story office buildings, three recessed parking garages and the Lone Star building. This campus has been awarded LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Paul Koehler Brown is the structural engineer of record for all of the office buildings.
 
   
     
  Samsung Austin Semiconductor T-Project – Austin, TX  
 





The Samsung Austin Semiconductor T-Project involves converting the existing 500,000 square feet Fab-1 facilities into a 300mm Copper Fab. The scope of work includes performing analysis on the existing structure and designing support structures for electrical and mechanical equipments. This project also includes adding a three-story stocker building and a 174-foot long steel bridge between the Fab 1 and Fab 2 buildings. The new stocker building and bridge house the new automated wafer transport system that travels in between the two building.
